Adrian Kulinski
Y2 Games Development
About Me
Hi, my name is Adrian Kulinski. I'm a games development student at USP College, currently in my second year. I decided to take on this course in order to expand upon my interest in video games such as Valorant, Overwatch and Minecraft, of which I have a combined playtime of ~3000 hours, likely more.

I believe that the course allows me to build skills that pertain not only to games, but also animation, modelling or development as more general fields which allows me to build skills that I could need for a career outside of the gaming industry.

I also believe I'm more than capable of succeeding in this course if I put my mind to it and will be able to acquire a career in the field due to my accolades in this course.

During this year, I wish to develop skills that focus more on the programming side of things rather than the artistic side of the course. This would allow me to get a range of careers that involve programming, from cybersecurity all the way to something such as a games programmer.
Throughout my first year at this college, I worked on a range of projects during which I developed a range of skills including a good understanding of modelling, a sophisticated knowledge of visual coding (as well as some proficiency in text-based programming), a thorough comprehension of how frames worked and the ability to make 2D sprites for a game.
The first project that I created in my first year was a 2D shooter by the name of Seraphim's Curse, where the player's main character was a fallen god who regained their powers as they defeated enemies, with each power spike planned to be locked behind a boss.
